The Mavic Aksium 1 wheelset is a revised classic that stands for reliability and comfort. The 21 mm wide aluminum rim allows the use of wider tires and thus ensures more stability and riding comfort on different terrain.
With the easy-to-maintain ID360 freehub system and new seals, it is particularly efficient and durable. Robust J-bend spokes round off the package and make the Aksium 1 a reliable companion for many kilometers.

- Instant Drive 360 freehub technology - The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
- UST tubeless technology - Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.
- QRM Auto bearing preload technology - Qualité de Roulements Mavic Auto. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play on the long run.
