The Liv EnviLiv Advanced 2 is an aero road bike designed for speed, aimed at female riders, which really comes into its own in races, sprints and fast breakaway attempts. The high-quality full-carbon frame, featuring women’s-specific geometry, a UDH derailleur hanger and up to 32 mm of tyre clearance, is complemented by an aerodynamically optimised Advanced OverDrive Aero full-carbon fork. The mechanical Shimano 105 2x12-speed groupset enables precise and reliable gear changes, whilst hydraulic Shimano 105 disc brakes with 160/140 mm rotors ensure controlled and easily modulated braking performance. The robust Giant P-A1 wheelset, fitted with 28 mm-wide Giant Gavia Course tubeless tyres, and the Giant Vector carbon seatpost round off the specification, which is consistently designed for aerodynamics, speed and racing performance.

Improved aerodynamics
To maximise performance and efficiency, both computer-aided and wind tunnel analyses are carried out to understand how the bike and rider experience airflow at every speed and from every direction. The new EnviLiv features elliptical-shaped profile tubes and is fitted with the new Contact Aero Carbon handlebar, which is flattened at the top to improve aerodynamic efficiency and hand comfort, as well as a flatter drop for greater control when sprinting and cornering.
Sprint efficiency
Aerodynamics are influenced by many factors, two of which are often mutually exclusive: stiffness and weight. The EnviLiv strikes an optimal balance: the new AdvancedGrade carbon frame and fork result in a weight saving of 292 grams compared to the previous generation.
Perfect integration
When every second counts, every detail matters. A new cable routing system through the handlebars, stem and frame improves aerodynamics and makes it easier to dismantle the bike for travel and maintenance. Two aerodynamic bottle cages integrate seamlessly into the seat tube and down tube, further reducing drag.

The PowerCore bottom bracket shell contributes to Giant’s high frame stiffness. The wide seat of the bottom bracket cups and the sturdy connection to the MegaDrive down tube noticeably increase frame stiffness.

The front triangle is moulded as a single piece; the modified monocoque construction dispenses with the outer braided composite layer.
