Improved Aerodynamics
To achieve maximum performance and efficiency, both computer simulations and wind tunnel analyses are used to understand how the bike and rider interact with airflow at every speed and from every direction. The new EnviLiv features elliptical tube profiles and is equipped with the new Contact Aero Carbon handlebar, designed with a flattened top section to improve aerodynamic efficiency and hand comfort, as well as a shallower drop for enhanced control while sprinting and cornering.
Sprint Efficiency
Aerodynamics are influenced by many factors, including stiffness and weight, which often compete with each other. The EnviLiv strikes the perfect balance: the new Advanced-Grade carbon frame and fork result in a weight reduction of 292 grams compared to the previous generation.
Perfect Integration
When every second counts, every detail matters. A new cable routing system through the handlebar, stem, and frame improves aerodynamics and also makes the bike easier to disassemble for travel and maintenance. Two aerodynamic bottle cages integrate seamlessly into the seat tube and down tube, further reducing air resistance.

The PowerCore bottom bracket shell contributes to Giant's high frame stiffness. The wide seat of the bottom bracket shells and the stable connection to the MegaDrive down tube noticeably increase frame stiffness.
Vector Seatpost
This lightweight and highly aerodynamic seatpost was specially developed for road riding and ensures comfort and efficiency at the same time.
Tubeless System

In the head tube of the new EnviLiv range, the D-shaped steerer tube, together with the matching spacers, ensures an extremely aerodynamic system with easier servicing for internally routed brake and shift cables.
Advanced Composite Technology
High-performance carbon fiber is used to produce the special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in our own factory. The front frame triangle is formed as a single piece and the modified monocoque construction dispenses with the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.
AeroSystem Shaping Technology
Using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and wind tunnel data, the tube shapes are optimized to ensure superior aerodynamics.
