The Liv EnviLiv Advanced 0 is an aero road bike designed exclusively for speed, tailored for female riders, and which really comes into its own in races, sprints and fast breakaways. The high-quality full-carbon frame, featuring women’s-specific geometry, a UDH derailleur hanger and up to 32 mm of tyre clearance, is complemented by an Advanced full-carbon fork. The electronic Shimano Ultegra Di2 2x12-speed groupset enables fast and precise gear changes, whilst hydraulic Shimano Ultegra disc brakes with 160/140 mm rotors ensure reliable and easily modulated braking performance. High speed and efficient propulsion are ensured by the Giant SLR 2 Disc carbon wheelset with 50 mm rim height and 28 mm-wide Giant Gavia Course tubeless tyres, whilst the Giant Vector carbon seatpost rounds off the high-quality specification.

Improved aerodynamics
To maximise performance and efficiency, both computer-aided and wind tunnel analyses are carried out to understand how the bike and rider experience airflow at every speed and from every direction. The new EnviLiv features elliptical-shaped profile tubes and is fitted with the new Contact Aero Carbon handlebars, which are flattened at the top to improve aerodynamic efficiency and hand comfort, as well as a flatter drop for greater control when sprinting and cornering.
Sprint efficiency
Aerodynamics are influenced by many factors, two of which are often mutually exclusive: stiffness and weight. The EnviLiv strikes an optimal balance: the new AdvancedGrade carbon frame and fork result in a weight saving of 292 grams compared with the previous generation.
Perfect integration
When every second counts, every detail matters. A new cable routing system through the handlebars, stem and frame improves aerodynamics and makes it easier to dismantle the bike for travel and maintenance. Two aerodynamic bottle cages integrate seamlessly into the seat tube and down tube, further reducing drag.

The PowerCore bottom bracket shell contributes to Giant’s high frame stiffness. The wide seat of the bottom bracket cups and the sturdy connection to the MegaDrive down tube noticeably increase frame stiffness.

High-performance carbon fibre is used to produce the specialised carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in the company’s own factory. The front triangle is moulded as a single piece; the modified monocoque construction dispenses with the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.
AeroSystem Shaping Technology
Using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and wind tunnel data, the tube shapes are optimised to ensure superior aerodynamics.
