How to use

  1. Unscrew the pump hose from the handle
  2. Depending on the valve type, whether Presta or Schrader valve, screw the corresponding side of the hose onto the other side of the pump
  3. Screw the pump hose onto the OPEN valve, then pump
  4. Presta valve: after pumping, press the ABS button to release air pressure from the pump hose and simplify unscrewing
  5. Schrader valve: after pumping, press the ABS button to adjust the air pressure in the inner tube

Die mitgelieferte Rahmenhalterung hat bei mir nicht an die Pumpe gepasst. Die halbrunden Schalen, in denen die Pumpe liegen soll, waren 1-2 mm zu klein, sodass die Pumpe nicht wirklich hineingepasst hat. Dadurch lag sie nicht auf den Gummipads auf und rutsche in der Halterung herum. Ich weiß nicht, ob das eine Fehlkonstruktion, Produktionsfehler oder Transportschaden war. Optisch war aber keine Beschädigung zu erkennen und beide Schalen waren genau gleich zu klein. Ich war zu faul, die Pumpe dafür zurück zu schicken, und habe die Halterung mit gefühlvoller Gewalt etwas aufgebogen. Jetzt passt es. Der silberne Ring am Pumpenschlauch, der wohl zum einfacheren Ein- und Ausschrauben des Schlauchs dient, ist optisch und haptisch zweifelhaft. Das Teil wirkt durch einfache scharf eingefräste Nuten anstatt einer hochwertigeren Rändelung wie am Schaft der Pumpe billig. Zusätzlich waren die Kanten bei mir nicht sauber entgratet. Ansonsten pumpt die Pumpe wie erwartet. Die Minimalanforderung ist damit wenigstens erfüllt. Die schwarz-metallic oil slic Farben und der Rest des Pumpenkörpers wirken sehr schön und hochwertig. Aber die Halterung und der billige Schraubring entäuschen. Im Laden hätte ich die Pumpe für den Preis nicht gekauft, wenn ich sie vorher so gesehen hätte. Den Aufwand für eine Rücksendung und Neukauf ist es mir jetzt aber auch nicht wert.
