The CX/TX Sport last was developed for high pedalling frequencies and long riding times. It securely encloses the foot and prevents unwanted movement, reducing pressure points and numbness. The precisely moulded toe box, high arch and medium ball width ensure a stable and supportive fit. Lake's nylon composite sole offers an optimal balance of stiffness and controlled flexibility. As a result, power is efficiently transferred to the pedals while reducing fatigue on long distances. The sole is compatible with 3-hole road bike cleats and is designed for a balanced stiffness-to-weight ratio.
The upper is made of lightweight microfibre material combined with breathable mesh inserts. This construction ensures good ventilation, moisture management and a permanently stable shape. The wrap-around tongue improves stability in the midfoot area and ensures secure heel hold under intense strain. The Dual BOA® L6 fastening system enables separate adjustment of the forefoot and instep. This allows the fit to be precisely adjusted without creating pressure points.
