The Katana TW-5 torque wrench is the ideal tool for precise work on bicycles. With a torque range of 4 to 24 Nm and a right-hand release that generates a tactile and audible signal when the set torque is reached, it protects the frame and components from damage caused by overtightening or under-tightening. Thanks to the practical switchover function, the ratchet can also be used for loosening screws.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Incorrect storage can impair accuracy. A torque wrench must always be stored in a relaxed state, i.e. at the lowest adjustable value! And another important tip at this point: Before using it for the first time, the entire working range of the torque wrench should be turned through two to three times and returned to the zero position. This allows the special grease to spread well and reach all relevant points of the mechanism.
