The Hiplok DXXL with double-sided locking against twisting and Sold-Secure-Diamond certification is a lightweight U-lock with a 14 mm shackle diameter that is made of hardened stainless steel. With the CLIP+RIDE system it can be easily attached to the bag/backpack strap and comes with 3 coded keys and a loop chain.

The lock is compact and sturdy. The coating prevents scratches on the bike frame. The lock mechanism is protected by a rubber plug preventing water from entering. It's important to remember to put it in place yourself. The chain is robust, both a strength and a drawback due to its considerable weight for portable use. However, on an electric bike, it might be less noticeable if kept in a side bag. The protective cover around the chain makes it rigid, and I deduct points for that and the weight. Overall, I highly recommend it.
