Nach der ersten Probefahrt muss ich sagen, es rollt sehr gut. Ich bin zunächst losgefahren, Motor war aus und es fährt sich super leicht. Die Weinbergswege hoch die verschiedenen Unterstützungsstufen durchprobiert. Den Motor hört man fast nicht, lediglich in Stufe fünf ganz leise. Kein Vergleich mit Bosch Performance cx, der ist deutlich lauter. Da dies mein erstes Rad mit Rennlenker-Schalt-Bremsgriffen ist, muss ich mich erst noch mehr daran gewöhnen. Schaltvorgänge sind gut, die Gänge 1-5 muss ich aber noch feinjustieren, da diese 1-5 Gänge nicht sauber drin bleiben. Ab Gang sechs ist alles exakt. Bei 20% Steigung auf schlechtem Waldweg kam die 11-Gang Schaltung nicht mit. Und auf Asphaltweg bergab erreichte ich 50kmh und das Rad lief ruhig (aber es war auch sehr windig). Ein tolles Rad für den reduzierten Preis!

Today I did my first ride (commute), and I must say it's a smooth ride. I was a bit afraid of the weight, but the assistance of the Bafang motor is great. You don't feel a thing when the support stops at 25km/h. It's a solid bike with good components (gears, lights, mudguards,...) When I got home from a windy commute, after 65km, I still had 3 out of 5 bars of battery. Delivery quality was excellent : the bike came in a huge box, fully assembled. Ready to ride after putting on the pedals.

I bought this bike for commuting, and I have nothing bad to say. The bike is quite heavy at 24kg, but with the electric assist you forget about the weight. I'd say this is a perfect commuter. As previous evaluator said, the motor support feels balanced, and not "jerky". But keep in mind, with this bike you do have to put some effort into pedaling before the motor starts helping, just spinning the pedals lightly is not enough. To me this feels perfect and much better than one Trek E-Bike I've tried before. Quality is good and the bike is very good looking. So far battery life seems excellent, From 5 bars of battery I only drained 1 after 40 km of riding (even though my use of the electric assist was quite low). On flat terrain I like to pedal without the assist as the bike rolls well. Tires are quite wide but grippy, I'll change them to something more slick for commuting. Bike came almost fully assembled, I only had to attach the pedals. I bought Thule Shield 25L panniers and they fit well on the rear rack. SKS fenders are good but I installed an extra mud flap to extend the front fender to protect the frame and chains from dirt.

I've been riding it for a few months now, almost every day for commuting and also for after-work and weekend rides. It handles off-road sections well and has been really solid and comfortable so far. The motor support feels well-balanced, and the gravel components are a good fit. Build quality is great. Schwalbe tyres also. I only swapped the pedals for a dual-side (one side SPD, one side flat), and git my bikepacking bags. Delivery was faster then predicted. 5 stars.
