The RIDE 2 Waterproof Winter Road Shoe Covers have been designed for road cyclists who need warmth and reliable protection from the elements in cold and wet conditions. The waterproof construction protects road cycling shoes from rain and spray, whilst 3 mm neoprene provides additional thermal insulation when cycling in winter.
The fit, which is specially designed for road cycling shoes, hugs the shoe closely. The zip at the back makes them easy to put on and take off. Abrasion-resistant sole reinforcements protect areas subject to particular wear and tear – such as when walking or during repeated contact with the ground. Reflective details enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
These overshoes have been designed for wet winter road rides, rainy commutes and training in cold weather. They provide extra warmth and protection from the wet when lighter rain overshoes are no longer sufficient.
As with all cycling shoe overshoes, water can penetrate through unavoidable openings – for example, around the cleats or the sole of the shoe – or through the top edge during prolonged or heavy rain.
