Smooth control
The carbon frameset was specially developed for the front suspension. With 40 mm of travel, the fork absorbs shocks so you can ride smoother and faster on uneven gravel and dirt.
Tuned compliance
Lowered seat stays with a smaller tube diameter absorb shocks and vibrations from the road. The Contact SL XR D-Fuse handlebars provide more compliance without compromising the stiffness you need for cornering, sprinting or climbing.
Adaptable to the respective terrain
With a flip chip at the rear dropout, you can adjust the wheelbase short for faster handling or long for more stability at high speed. The long setting also allows for larger tyre diameters of up to 53 mm. For additional stability, you can choose the dropper seatpost with suspension supplied.

Advanced Composite Technology
GIANT's high-performance carbon fibre is used to produce this special carbon frame material. It is woven and processed in our own factory and has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front frame triangle is moulded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction does away with the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.
D-Fuse technology
The seatpost and handlebars with D-Fuse technology are designed to work as a system, absorbing shocks and vibrations from the road so you can ride further and faster.
OverDrive
The original oversize steerer tube technology from Giant. The system was developed for precise steering behaviour and ensures optimum steering stiffness with its oversize headset bearings (1 1/4" bottom and 1 1/8" top for road bikes, 1 1/2" bottom and 1 1/8" top for mountain bikes) and the tapered steerer tube.
Tubeless system
Fewer punctures. Better traction. Less rolling resistance. GIANT's tubeless system makes mounting easier and ensures extra riding fun.
Flip-chip dropout
Allows riders to quickly adjust the riding characteristics by changing the rear tyre distance with an eccentric two-position chip in the dropout of the rear wheel.
