Edge 550 picks up on the modern design of its big brother Edge 1050 and offers the brilliant and high-resolution 2.7 inch (68.6 mm) LCD display in a smaller form factor for the first time. The Edge 550 offers push-button operation.

BATTERY LIFE
Despite its high-resolution LCD display, the Edge 550 offers up to 12 hours of battery life during intensive use with active navigation, paired sensors and much more. For longer adventures, the energy-saving mode offers a battery life of up to 36 hours.

REAL-TIME WEATHER INFORMATION
Monitor the weather and make informed decisions while riding based on weather radar and wind direction data from weather stations when your smartphone is paired.

INTELLIGENT FOOD ALERTS

E-BIKE ROUTING
The e-bike routing takes into account the battery charge level, the selected support and the range of your e-bike. At the start of your tour, you will receive information on whether the planned route can be completed with the battery level of your paired e-bike. As you will be riding with varying levels of assistance and the battery will not discharge evenly, you will receive continuous updates on whether your e-bike has enough power for your route.

COMMUNITY HAZARDS
Share information about hazards with the community and get more tips about potholes or obstacles. Danger zones are also displayed in the Edge route planner so that routes can be planned more safely in advance.

AUTOMATIC ACCIDENT NOTIFICATION
While the bike computer and phone are paired, your current position can be sent to your emergency contacts in the event of an accident - off-road or on the road. If you have joined a GroupRide, all other GroupRide participants will also be informed about the incident.

BIKE ALARM & FIND MY EDGE
Be alerted if your bike is moved while you are away and the option to find the last position of your Edge if it is lost in a fall.

ENDURO & DOWNHILL MTB PROFILES
The Enduro MTB and Downhill MTB activity profiles provide all the data you need for your ride. In the Enduro profile, you can see your altitude and depth meters for the run and the entire activity. The Downhill profile saves a lap as soon as you finish your descent and get on the lift or a shuttle.

5 HERTZ GPS RECORDING
The 5 Hz GPS recording records your track in the Enduro and Downhill MTB profile with 5 data points per second. This gives you an even more precise track recording and split times can be measured even more accurately.

SPLIT TIMES
Set start and time measuring points along a trail and compare your performance based on the split times between the measuring points. This allows you to draw conclusions about the fastest line and improve from run to run.

Use the pre-installed Trailforks MTB map with integrated trail network to find new trails in your area.
