Erster Eindruck nach 7 Stunden Nutzung, sowie ca. 3 Std. bewusstes positionieren in Sonnenschein, zwecks Test der Solarfunktion. Hier gehe ich nur auf die Akku-Funktion ein - alles andere an Features habe ich, ausser der Ablesbarkeit des Displays noch nicht näher betrachtet. RR-Session mit 4 Sensoren, kein Routing, im GPS- Modus. 6 h Betriebszeit, Start mit 37 % Akkuleistung. Am Ende der Tour noch 26 % Akkuleistung. Sonnenschein: 100 %. 3 h Positionierung des Geräts in optimaler Stellung zur Sonneneinstrahlung. Verlust der Akkuleistung 0 %. GPS und Sensoren-Suche ausgeschaltet. Die Aussage von GARMIN auf der FFM-Bike-Messe, dass das Solarpanel nicht auflädt, muss ich bestätigen. Das Solarpanel, so meine erste Beobachtung, verlangsamst lediglich den Entladevorgang. Unterm Strich bleibt festzustellen, dass ein Normal-User mit einer Akkuladung sehr lange Radfahren kann, was schon mal ein deutliche Verbesserung ist. Zum Thema Routing und Akkuverbrauch werde ich später etwas schreiben.
