The G.IZAR extends Gaerne's all-terrain series with a versatile cycling shoe for gravel adventures, bikepacking, touring and everyday use. The shoe combines high comfort, reliable support and good everyday suitability with a robust construction for a wide variety of surfaces.
Based on the specially developed G.ALL TERRAIN FIT, the shoe offers a stable and protective fit for off-road use. At the same time, comfort is maintained even on longer walking passages or hike-a-bike sections. The breathable mesh upper material ensures low weight and good ventilation. Strategically placed TPU reinforcements on the toe, heel and side areas protect particularly stressed zones and increase durability. The reinforced heel construction with reflective elements also improves stability and visibility.
The classic lacing system enables a natural and even adjustment of the fit and ensures a high level of comfort both on the bike and in everyday life. A padded EVA tongue further increases comfort. Inside, an ergonomic footbed supports the natural foot position and offers pleasant cushioning. The centrepiece of the shoe is the specially developed AT1 CLIPLESS SOLE. The sole combines efficient power transmission with high running ability and secure grip on wet and dry surfaces. A lightweight EVA midsole reduces weight while improving comfort and shock absorption.
