The innovative ventilation system ensures effective water drainage, excellent breathability and quick drying. The closure system includes a transverse strap that can optimally adjust the shoe and a Velcro fastener in the lower area for quick individual adjustments during the race.
The integrated anti-slip heel cap remains stable and offers the best foot stability and control with its anti-tendonitis shape. The rear loop enables quick entry and is extremely practical. A small elastic insert on the inside of the shoe makes it easier for athletes to attach the shoes to the bike and put them on quickly while riding. The permeable EPS insole is anatomically designed, adapts perfectly to the foot and offers maximum comfort with micro-perforations for optimum ventilation.

The GAERNE EPS CARBON POWER SOLE 8.0 is made of nylon with carbon content for optimum stiffness. The low thickness guarantees a smooth pedal stroke without energy loss. The stability of the foot is increased by the shape of the sole in the arch area. Five ventilation openings ensure that the shoe is well ventilated. The sole is fitted with an anti-slip insole in the toe area and a replaceable insole in the heel area. An alignment scale printed on the sole makes it possible to memorize the position of the cleat. Compared to the previous sole, the cleat positioning option has been increased by 9 mm. Compatible with most commercially available quick-release pedals. Excellent stiffness index of 8.0.

HEEL CUP
Improved anatomically shaped heel cup made of non-deformable plastic. The heel cup provides a firm hold, is non-slip and stabilizes the tendons. Reflective inserts on the back ensure better visibility in low light conditions. Air inlets improve temperature equalization.
TRANSPIRANT INNER-SOLE
The insole is anatomically shaped for optimum comfort. Micro-pöros for good ventilation. Replaceable.
