Highly breathable, comfortable triathlon cycling shoe: the Transiro Hydra from Fizik
As changes become increasingly important - they are now considered the fourth discipline in any triathlon competition, whether Ironman or sprint distance - Fizik has revised its tri shoe collection to meet the needs of the most demanding athletes. The Transiro Hydra is equipped with a single Velcro closure that allows quick and carefree changes, where any mistake can cost a lot of time. In addition, the circumferential strap provides the necessary support to allow athletes to perform in any race situation.
The simple closure system combined with an upper made of 3D Air mesh, which is highly breathable to prevent excessive sweating of the feet, makes this shoe an optimal solution for those who prefer to run without socks.
The redesigned R5 nylon outsole provides comfort and moderate stiffness for efficient pedaling. In addition, the cleat position has been moved slightly further back compared to traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce pressure on the knees. A wide ventilation opening provides cooling airflow and helps regulate temperature.
