The G.EDGE is a versatile MTB shoe for riders who value comfort, performance and reliability on a wide variety of terrain. As a balanced mid-range model, the shoe is ideal for long tours, technical trails and sporty off-road use.
Based on the proven G.COMFORT FIT, the shoe offers a natural, supportive and balanced fit. The classic Gaerne last ensures immediate comfort and stable foot guidance - even on long rides. The perforated microfibre upper improves breathability and supports efficient air circulation to keep feet cool and dry, even under intense strain. The closure system combines a micro-adjustable BOA® L6 Dial C with five lacing guides to ensure a consistent and secure fit without pressure points. The rubberised surface of the BOA® dial closure also ensures a good grip during operation.
The COMFORT FIT tongue with integrated padding increases comfort and improves ventilation. The construction is complemented by the INTEGRATED ANTI-SLIP HEEL CUP, which improves stability and control on technical trails. The anatomically moulded EPS TRANSPIRANT insole supports comfort and pedalling efficiency. At the heart of the shoe is the MTB 2DENSITY SOLE made of nylon and fibreglass materials. It combines low weight with high durability and offers excellent grip and stability on a wide variety of surfaces. Two replaceable front lugs additionally improve traction in muddy and demanding terrain.

MTB 2DENSITY SOLE
From Gaerne's research and development department comes the brand new "MTB 2density sole" specially designed for mountain bike shoes. The nylon and fibreglass construction makes the sole light, stiff, thin and resistant. The design of the tread ensures the best grip and excellent stability on any terrain. Two removable spikes increase traction in muddy terrain.
BOA L6 FASTENING SYSTEM
The patented "BOA L6®" fastening system consists of twist fasteners with stainless steel pulls that enable unrivalled fine adjustment. The combination of these elements allows the rider a perfect fixation of the foot with no pressure points. The absence of Velcro fasteners maximises air circulation in the forefoot.
COMFORT FIT TONGUE
The tension-covering tongue is perforated to improve air circulation. It is also padded with a soft lining to provide the foot with unrivalled comfort.
HEEL CUP
Improved anatomically moulded heel cup made of non-deformable plastic. The heel cup provides a firm hold, is non-slip and stabilises the tendons. Reflective inserts on the back ensure better visibility in low light conditions. Air inlets improve temperature equalisation.
TRANSPIRANT INSOLE
The insole is anatomically moulded for optimum comfort. Micro-pöros for good ventilation. Replaceable.
