This Focus JAM² SL 8.7 Warmgrey is a new item with paintwork imperfections. This women’s full-suspension e-bike has minor cosmetic flaws (paint damage to the down tube), which do not affect its functionality in any way.
The Focus JAM² SL 8.7 combines the best of both worlds: the powerful electric assistance of a modern e-MTB and the natural handling of a classic trail bike without a motor. Whether riding uphill, downhill or on flowing sections – this e-mountain bike delivers maximum riding enjoyment on every trail. The lightweight full-carbon frame with 29-inch wheels is designed entirely with performance in mind. The bike is powered by the compact Fazua Ride 60 motor with a 430 Wh battery, which delivers efficient assistance whilst keeping the weight low. The 160/150 mm full-suspension bike is fully weight-optimised and designed with a fun-oriented geometry. Thanks to its adjustable geometry, the bike can be customised – for even greater versatility on a variety of trails. JAM² SL
The JAM² SL range features a lightweight full-carbon frame – designed entirely for minimum weight without compromising on user-friendliness or stability. A super-compact FAZUA R60 e-drive is integrated into a design that takes you to new heights. A fun-oriented geometry with 160/150 mm suspension – agile on the trail without compromising the bike’s stability. The motor and battery of the JAM² SL are fully integrated. This ensures optimum protection for the electric drive and means that this e-MTB not only rides like a bike without an electric drive, but also looks like one. The well-thought-out carbon layout strikes the perfect balance between low weight and high stiffness. Focus has opted for a removable battery that you can easily take out from the underside of the down tube. To open the down tube cover, you can use the Allen key on the thru-axle of your JAM² SL. This means you always have the only tool you need to hand. Once the cover is open, you can remove the FAZUA ENERGY 430 battery with just one click.
Geometry
On the JAM² SL, the head angle can be easily adjusted between 64.5° and 65.5° by rotating the headset cups. Choosing a steeper head angle results in more agile handling of the bike. The flatter position provides a more downhill-oriented set-up. Adjusting the handling of this lightweight e-bike to suit your own preferences does not affect the seat angle or other parameters. Thanks to the FLIP CHIP on the rear triangle, you can tailor your bike’s geometry entirely to your riding style. Adjusting the distance from 440 to 447 mm changes your entire set-up. If you set the FLIP CHIPS to the long position, the JAM² SL rides more stably and makes steep climbs easier. If you prefer wheelies and a more agile geometry, set them to the short position to get that extra kick. Based on these two components, the geometry of the JAM² SL can be individually adjusted across four variants: with a flat or steep head angle and a long or short chainstay. These options ensure that your bike’s geometry is balanced and tailored to your height.
Sealed bearings
All frame bearings are fitted with an additional seal to extend their service life.
Maximum system weight
This sporty and lightweight e-MTB is designed for a total system weight (bike, rider and kit) of 135 kg.
Frame protection

On the JAM² SL, Focus has reduced the number of F.O.L.D. linkages, thereby saving a significant amount of weight. The new kinematics further minimise braking interference and give you maximum control over your bike in every situation.
COCKPIT INTEGRATION SOLUTION C.I.S.
C.I.S. stands for Cockpit Integration Solution and brings together all integrated cables and wires in the cockpit of your road, gravel or mountain bike. Focus has developed various C.I.S. stem solutions tailored to the requirements of each bike category, such as an aero stem for the IZALCO MAX or an ultra-short stem for mountain bikes. They all have one thing in common: they route all cables through the stem and headset into the frame, delivering perfect functionality for both electronic and mechanical gear systems. This gives your cockpit a tidy design, with all cables running internally and well protected.
FLIP CHIP
Different riders have different preferences, and different trails can call for different set-ups. That’s why we want our bike to suit your riding style and the local trails! For nimble handling on playful trails, you can leave the FLIP CHIP in the “HIGH” position, which gives you plenty of agility. If you like it tough and rough and have challenging trails just round the corner, switch to “LOW”.
