Für klassische Rennräder, passt nicht zu modernen Bikes. Von den Produktfotos her sieht es so aus, als würde das Band ganz gut zu schwarzen Carbon-Bikes passen. Leider ist der weiße Rand seitlich nicht wie vermutet die Klebefolie, sondern tatsächlich das nicht durchgefärbte Band. Der Look ist insgesamt sehr retro und passt wohl eher auf Stahlräder. War prinzipiell mein Fehler, es auszusuchen, allerdings ziehe ich einen Stern ab, da der Hersteller ja wenigstens Fotos des Produkts auf dem Lenker beistellen könnte, dann hätte man das schnell gesehen. Wer ein modernes Bike hat, könnte es anstatt der "Classic"-Ausführung mit der "Soft"-Ausführung versuchen. Die Haptik des Bandes ist gut, das wickeln ist mühsam, da es nicht so flexibel ist. Dafür ebenfalls ein Stern Abzug. Ich werde jetzt vmtl. eine Saison mit diesem Band "leben" und es dann vorzeitig gegen ein gummiertes in komplett Schwarz ersetzen.

Good tape absorbing a lot of vibrations. I always have a problem on installing the plug ends, though as the tape is thick enough to go inside the handlebar holes...using some hammering.

Very good bartape, takes some effort to be installed since it's not that flexible but once installed offers great feel, fantastic grip and classic looks. Absorbs vibration good. Recommended for road/gravel.
