Timeless road cycling shoe with maximum ventilation and a precise fit: the Infinito Carbon 2 from Fizik
The Microtex upper is supple yet strong and stable for a comfortable and consistent fit. Combined with fizik's most advanced adjustment options, this shoe offers the precise, locked-in feel that racers demand.
A special piece of the shoe upper wraps around the plantar arch and can be precisely adjusted using the latest Li2 BOA® platform for a perfect fit and improved plantar fascia support. The Infinito balances tension and eliminates pressure points through the use of BOA® textile lace guides. This fit system works over a larger area of the upper and pulls the eyelets inwards evenly from all directions for a more supportive and comfortable fit.
The volume control system allows for differentiated fit adjustments for the instep and forefoot area, the shape and volume of which can vary greatly between riders. Featuring the latest Li2 BOA® Fit System platform with a smaller dial diameter and lower, more aerodynamic profile, cyclists can customize the fit to their unique foot shape, ensuring maximum performance without compromising comfort.
The updated Infinito also features an all-new outsole with a carbon fiber engineered layer that saves weight and provides increased stiffness. With a stiffness index of 10, this outsole is the stiffest in the Fizik range. A wide vent inlet and deep internal channeling provide cooling airflow and help regulate temperature. The cleat positioning is set slightly further back compared to conventional settings to optimize pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression. This is particularly suitable for very aggressive forward aero positions.
