Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Frame-size in cm: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.61. Frame size in inch: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.24.If the theoretical value lies between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- Rather the smaller frame size when riding sportsmanlikely
- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "HALO Hot Wax chain wax"
Finish Line HALO chain wax (hot wax) including boiling bag
The innovative technologies used achieve an unsurpassed reduction in friction and abrasive contamination in the chain and guarantee extremely smooth running with long relubrication intervals.Features - Finish Line HALO chain wax
- Dipping tool included
- With practical boil-in bag
- Faster and lasts significantly longer
- Three high-quality ingredients ensure excellent results
- Guarantees extreme mileage between lubrication intervals
- Reduction of contamination and unsurpassed friction reduction
How to use
- Locate the chain lock to remove the chain quickly and easily. (pliers required for chain lock). Clean and dry the chain completely before first use. (pliers for chain lock optionally available)
- To melt the wax pellets, place the HALO™ bag in a pot of water and bring the water gently to the boil. Alternatively, you can place the pellets in a slow cooker to melt the wax.
- Attach the chain to the dipping tool included in the bag. Scan the QR code for the best technique.
- Once the wax pellets are completely melted, remove the bag and place on a covered work surface.
- Immerse the chain in the melted wax using the dipping tool.
- Leave the chain in the wax for at least 3 minutes so that the wax can fully penetrate the chain bushes.
- Remove the chain from the hot wax and hang it up until it is completely dry (approx. 30 minutes). Note: Some wax will drip off the chain.
- Allow the chain to dry before reattaching it to the bike. Note: It is normal for excess wax to flake off.
- Keep the maximum temperature below 104 °C (220 °F).
- Do not melt wax in the oven or microwave.
- Avoid contact with naked flames. Wear protective gloves and goggles.
- If old wax needs to be removed from the chain, use boiling water.

- 1 x Finish Line HALO chain wax (hot wax) 600 g
- Incl. boil bag
Technologies
HALO™ HOT WAX
is designed to dramatically improve drivetrain performance through
- Unsurpassed reduction of friction in the drivetrain.
- Ensuring extreme mileage between lubrication intervals.
- Significantly reducing the attraction of abrasive contaminants.
- Highly refined kerosene provides a tough coating that is dry to the touch, water repellent, repels abrasive contaminants and virtually eliminates chain stains.
- Ceramic boron nitride flakes cover the chain and form a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works in synergy with the spherical tungsten to reduce wear and prolong the life of expensive drive components.
- Spherical tungsten has a patented hollow core that reduces vibration friction caused by high torque pedaling. The micron size and spherical shape help reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the chain surface.
- Manufacturer number: HB1040101
- UPC: 036121973862

Awesome, after 260 km chain still in great condition and be able to make at least 350km as minimum, for Smoove lube it was my limit 260km. Easy to apply, easy to clean between applications.
