The SF Women Sport Gel is perfect for an equally sporty and comfortable riding position on fitness bikes. The shape of the high-quality padded saddle supports the slightly inclined position of your upper body. This means that the pressure is optimally directed onto the sit bones and the sensitive genital area is relieved. In addition, the aesthetically designed SF Women not only increases your performance, but also visually enhances your bike with this eye-catcher.
Tailor-made relief - Ergon takes the pressure off women
After intensive research and evaluation of feedback from test riders, the relief opening of the SF Women Sport Gel was calculated and positioned far forward. This recess is specially tailored to the female anatomy and thus relieves pressure from the sensitive genital area.
Anatomical gel pads - even pressure distribution
When cycling, most of your body weight rests on the small saddle area. To prevent discomfort in the extremely sensitive perineum and genital area, the pressure is distributed as evenly as possible over the sit bones with anatomical gel pads. This is noticeably more effective with the SF Women Sport Gel than with the "normal" padding of the basic model, especially on longer rides.
Orthopaedic foam - comfortable and robust
The padding is made of orthopaedic foam, which has been designed to be particularly ergonomic yet extremely durable for fitness bikes. This distributes the pressure much better - so that you feel comfortable at all times, even without cycling shorts, even on longer tours. The saddle is covered with robust microfiber.

The Ergon developers have taken a completely new approach to women's fitness saddles. After intensive basic research with X-ray and CT analyses, they have created a new generation of saddles. Countless prototypes were intensively tested by professional and amateur riders and their feedback was implemented in detail.
The flexible pelvis
Women are significantly more flexible in the pelvis than men. In the typical riding position for fitness bikes, the pelvis therefore often tilts forward more. This often creates considerable pressure in the genital area. With the SF Women, this pressure is reliably directed onto the bony structures of the seat area thanks to the relief opening at the front and the wide, V-shaped saddle flanks.
The deep pubic symphysis
For anatomical reasons, the pubic symphysis (anterior cartilage connection between the two halves of the pelvis) is around a quarter lower in women than in men. In addition, the angle between the pubic bones is greater. We have also taken this into account in the SF Women to prevent discomfort in the sensitive areas.
The right saddle size
The shape and size of a saddle's seat surface must match the cyclist's sit bone distance in order to avoid discomfort. Ergon therefore offers the SF Women in two sizes. As the pelvic bones taper forward in a V-shape, the saddle should always provide sufficient support for the sit bones in different riding positions. The saddle widths are selected so that the usable area corresponds to the sit bone distance and optimally distributes the pressure. The more forward a rider sits, the further forward the sit bones touch the saddle.
