Cube Cross Race C:68X TE Teamline
Product information "Cross Race C:68X TE Teamline"
In the thick of the mud and obstacles and chaos, you need a bike that won't let you down. That's why, with the Cross Race C:68X TE, CUBE chose Shimano's Ultegra Di2 2x12 gears. They're reliable and precise under duress... and the crank runs on ceramic bearings and is fitted with a double-sided 4iiii power meter, so you know how you're performing. Schwalbe's 33 mm X-One RS tyres cut through the slop to find grip and are hooked up to a Newmen Advanced SL X.R.36 wheelset to keep you rolling. While powerful, progressive Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes ensure it's you that's in control, not the race course. It's 100% race ready.

FRAME Cube Cross Race C:68X TE teamline
Progress never sleeps. The Cross Race C:68X frame was developed in conjunction with feedback from professional CX riders, and also took inspiration from CUBE's high-end carbon race bikes. The result is a perfectly honed race chassis, crafted from CUBE's top-end C:68X® carbon material for a frame that weighs less than 900 g – which is a difference you can feel, whether you're pedalling or shouldering. It's still just as strong, just as stiff and just as easy to pick up and carry. It's just very, very light. An integrated seatpost clamp and IC Race Cockpit with cables routed through the headset complete the package. Ready for the podium?
Please note that pedals are not included!
Technologies
C:68® Carbon Fibre Technology
Our C:68® carbon makes the impossible possible: low weight combined with maximum stiffness. The high-modulus spread-tow material used enables smaller gaps and wall thicknesses reduced by up to 25 per cent thanks to the flat structures of its fibre bundles. Our Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing process ensures uniformity and precision. In short: this material is more than perfect for the construction of top-quality bicycle frames.
Integrated seatpost clamp
Here at CUBE, we’re committed to continuous innovation, even in the smallest details, so that you can enjoy your cycling experience to the full. With its minimalist design, our integrated seatpost clamp blends beautifully into the understated frame design and even saves a few grams in weight. The result: a stunning, clean look combined with optimised performance.
Cyclocross Race Geometry
Cyclocross Race Geometry is all about striking the perfect balance between speed and control – so that your dream of the podium becomes a reality! Added to this is handling that reacts quickly to changing conditions whilst still providing stability and control. For a sensational race performance and: victory!
Internal Cable Routing
The cables connect the controls on the handlebars to the bike’s key components, such as the gears and brakes. But they should never get in your way when you’re in action! Thanks to our Internal Cable Routing, there’s no more cable clutter on the frame, meaning less maintenance. It also protects the cables running inside from dirt, moisture, damage and abrasion. On top of that, it creates a beautifully clean look.
UCI-compliant
Racing also means adhering to certain rules. And because that’s the case, all our road bikes designed for racing fully comply with UCI guidelines in terms of design and construction. CUBE offers a complete range of regulation-compliant high-performance road bikes – so you can focus entirely on your goal: victory, what else?
One-piece carbon cockpit
When every hundredth of a second counts in bike racing, weight is a crucial factor. That’s why CUBE has designed the one-piece carbon cockpit to accommodate the rider’s various riding positions just like a traditional stem/handlebar assembly, whilst significantly reducing weight. This carbon cockpit is light, sturdy and looks incredibly stylish – making every watt even more fun!
Cycle computer mount
Naturally, you’ll want to keep an eye on your performance data whilst cycling, which is why Cube has developed a clean, unobtrusive mount for your cycle computer. This allows you to record and access your information accurately, no matter where you’re riding. Your cycle computer sits securely and firmly in the mount and is perfectly protected.
Advanced Twin Mold
In Cube’s Advanced Twin Moldprocess for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames, Cube uses two precision moulds. The first ensures a precise lay-up, whilst the second (the inner core) holds every single fibre in its intended position as the frame cures. The result is an extremely lightweight, rigid chassis with a fibre density optimally tailored to each high-stress junction.
