Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated

FRAME Cube Cross Race C:62 SLX teamline
Here's the thing about the Cross Race C:62 frame: it features many of the same innovations as our range-topping carbon cyclocross frame. So, for example, you'll find a semi-integrated seat clamp and the same Internal Cable Routing running neatly into the top of the head tube, for the same fuss-free performance, low maintenance and clean looks. Crafted from our C:62® carbon using our Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing technology, this is the performance cyclocross frame to elevate your racing to the next level.
Please note that pedals are not included!
Technologies
C:62 Carbon Fiber Technology
Not all carbon is created equal. With Cubes C:62® carbon they increased the high modulus fibre content, then they reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.
Integrated seatpost clamp
Cubes Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that's important – because why wouldn't you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much...
Cyclocross Race Geometry
Cyclocross Race Geometry is all about threading that fine line between speed and control, to give you the best possible chance of ending up on the podium. With handling that's quick to respond to rapidly changing conditions but stable enough to help keep you upright and rolling, it's all you need for race day.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing we've reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame, keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination – or damage from abrasion – as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.
UCI compliant
If you want to race, there are rules. We know that, which is why all our road race bikes that could be used for racing are fully compliant with UCI regulations on bicycle design and construction. We've created a full range of high performance machines that follow the rules, so you can just concentrate on your performance...
Bike computer mount
Cube knows that you want to keep track of your performance stats. It's important, which is why Cube has designed a neat, unobtrusive mount for your bike computer. Now you can record and access data wherever you ride, safe in the knowledge that your device is securely mounted and out of harm's way.
Advanced Twin Mold
With Cubes Advanced Twin Mold process they use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
