Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "C-Vento - Road Bike Helmet"
Lightweight, aerodynamic and perfectly ventilated: the C-Vento from Cratoni
Every real cyclist knows that the lighter a helmet is, the better it fits. This is because a lightweight road bike or triathlon helmet automatically means less weight on the head and neck - which starts to move when you turn or are shaken (e.g. by bumps in the road). For this reason, Cratoni only uses ultra-light materials such as EPS and polycarbonate in the manufacture of road bike helmets. The result is a lightweight base body that offers maximum protection with maximum impact resistance.
Thanks to the Light-Fit-System (LFS), the C-Vento has various adjustment options and can be fastened or narrowed as required. This means it adapts perfectly to any head shape. The chin closure with integrated padding is of course just as easy to operate.
The incredible total of 37 ventilation openings speaks for itself! This enormous ventilation capacity, coupled with the ingenious arrangement and surface finish of the longitudinal and cross struts, reduces air resistance to a minimum. The completely new chassis developed by Cratoni cuts the airstream extremely precisely and enables a controlled and smooth glide. The laboratory data shows an enormous increase in aerodynamic efficiency compared to all previous models. The C-Vento also features CRATONI Hyper-Ventilation. The optimally aligned intake openings in the forehead area of the helmet serve to draw in cool air and push it through the air channel matrix for full-head ventilation. On the one hand, this enables a gentle airflow and, on the other, significantly improved air circulation. Numerous tests in the wind tunnel, on the racetrack and outdoors under real conditions have confirmed this, and the ventilation openings of the C-Vento are not just there to keep you cool. You can also use them to hold your goggles.
