The new Mountain King is the result of close collaboration between adidas and Continental. As an all-mountain tyre with enduro characteristics, it offers the ideal traction experience and connects the rider with the trail. The BlackChili compound and the carcass work in tandem to deliver a responsive ride. The repositioned knobs promise reduced weight and offer good handling, even on softer surfaces and in wet conditions. Whilst the centre knobs are designed for acceleration and speed, the deep-set outer knobs ensure stability and a smooth ride on the trail.
The tyre’s sidewall has been completely redesigned and features a clean, distinctive design. The Mountain King’s new carcass also incorporates Continental’s new Tubeless-Ready concept, which, as a pioneer of the next generation, offers a whole new level of comfort, from set-up to the trail. Thanks to the new core and sidewall construction, the tyre seals perfectly against the rim.
The hard wayProTection technology gives tyres the perfect blend of smooth rolling, grip and puncture protection. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which makes the entire tyre particularly durable and resistant to damage.
