The third-generation Performance Line, also known as Bosch Performance Line Gen3, was launched in 2020 and has been performing reliably on many e-bikes ever since. With a maximum torque of 65 Nm and a maximum support of 300 %, the Bosch drive offers plenty of power for dynamic e-trekking bikes or e-mountain bikes and, in combination with the Bosch Powerpack and Powertube batteries, convinces with a great range. The e-drive is extremely quiet and shines due to its natural and balanced feel. Even in off-mode or faster than 25 km/h, as there is almost no pedaling resistance. The Bosch Performance Line motor ensures maximum riding pleasure in both flat and mountainous terrain which gives you an unmatched e-bike experience.

The Bosch Intuvia Display – the intuitive control center

The Intuvia display can be read in all lighting conditions and the e-bike can be controlled easily and intuitively. Thanks to the separate control unit, your hands remain securely on the handlebar at all times, while the shift recommendation means you always pedal in the correct gear. This preserves the battery and increases your range. Intuvia means you always have all riding data clearly in sight.

Even if you have to push your e-bike on occasion, this can be achieved conveniently with Intuvia. Walk assistance provides support up to 6 km/h. For safety, walk assistance is activated in two stages. Thus, pushing the bike even with bulky items in the basket becomes easier.

Bosch e-bike rechargeable batteries combine low weight with ergonomic design and simple handling. The Battery Management System of the high-quality lithium-ion batteries detects potential sources of error and protects cells from overloading. There is a suitable rechargeable battery for every demand and every type of e-bike, from the rack variant, via the frame battery to the integrated solution.

Outstanding battery efficiency
For maximum riding pleasure, lithium-ion PowerPacks have maximum energy density with the smallest size and lowest weight on the market.

Simple to store and quick to charge
Modern Bosch lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge issues. Your battery will charge to 50% in about 2 hours, depending on the charger and PowerPack.

Ergonomic handling
It’s easy to remove and charge at home. The PowerPacks can also be conveniently charged directly on the bike.

No memory effect
Bosch batteries with lithium-ion cells can be charged at any time quickly irrespective of the charging. Interruptions of the charging process do not harm the battery. Complete discharge is not required.

Extremely low self-discharge
Even after long periods of storage, e.g. in winter, the battery can be used without recharging. This means Bosch rechargeable batteries do not need to be recharged after a long break in use. For longer storage, a charge status of approx. 30 to 60% is recommended.

Long life
Bosch batteries are designed for lots of trips, miles and years of service. The intelligent, electronic Bosch Battery Management System (BMS) protects lithium-ion batteries from extreme temperatures, overcharging, and excessive discharge.

Bosch PowerPack 500 The Bosch PowerPack 500 is the same size as and only slightly heavier than the PowerPack 400 but extends the range. The Lithium-ion battery requires about two hours to charge 50% and the PowerPack 500 takes approx. 4.5 hours to charge with the Bosch Standard Charger. In favourable conditions, charged and with the Performance Line Cruise in the mix, tours of up to 90 kilometres are possible. The PowerPack 500 is available for all product lines as a frame or rack battery.
