The Bryton Rider 550 E combines clear data display with comprehensive training and navigation functions for ambitious cycle tours. The built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display brightness, ensuring good readability in changing light conditions. On climbs, the Climb Challenge provides detailed information on distance, gradient and elevation gain, whilst junction views make it easier to find your way along the route. Using the Bryton Active app, you can plan rides, synchronise training data and track group rides. Connectivity with ANT+ FE-C smart trainers also enables guided indoor workouts with automatic resistance adjustment. With up to 37 hours’ battery life, the cycle computer is also designed for long rides and multi-day adventures.

Climb Challenge
Conquer every climb with confidence. As you approach a climb, the Rider 550 automatically switches to the Climb Challenge screen and displays intuitive color-coded graphics showing distance, gradient and remaining elevation, so you can adjust your pace optimally and stay in control.

Intersection Snapshot
Never miss a turn again. The Rider 550’s Intersection Snapshot feature clearly displays nearby road layouts at junctions, so you can instantly identify the correct direction, even at complex junctions.

Smart Trainer & Training Support
Once the Rider 550 is connected and paired with a smart trainer, you can control resistance, power and climb modes directly via the user interface. It also supports smart training plans that automatically adjust the resistance to suit your training programme. All you need to do is concentrate on every pedal stroke.

Cycling Radar Support
With a connected ANT+ rear-view bike radar system, cyclists can detect vehicles up to 150 m behind them. Coloured signals and beeps on the right-hand side of each data screen warn of approaching traffic.
