Bosch Performance Line Gen3
The third-generation Performance Line, also known as Bosch Performance Line Gen3, was launched in 2020 and has been providing reliable service on many e-bikes ever since. With a maximum torque of 65 Nm and maximum assistance of 300%, the Bosch drive offers plenty of power for sporty e-trekking bikes or e-mountain bikes and, in conjunction with the Bosch Powerpack and Powertube batteries, impresses with a great range. The e-drive is extremely quiet and shines with its natural and balanced riding feel, even in off-mode or over 25 km/h, as there is almost no pedalling resistance. The Bosch Performance Line motor ensures maximum riding pleasure and an unrivalled e-bike experience on both flat and hilly terrain.

For the greatest possible riding enjoyment, the lithium-ion PowerPacks have been proven to have the highest energy density with the smallest size and lowest weight on the market.
Easy to store and quick to charge
Modern Bosch lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from memory effects or self-discharge. Depending on the charger and PowerPack, you can charge your battery to half capacity in around two hours.
Ergonomic handling
Removing the battery for charging at home is very easy. The PowerPacks can also be conveniently charged directly on the bike.
No memory effect
The Bosch rechargeable batteries with lithium-ion cells can be charged for as short a time as required, regardless of their charge status. Interruptions to the charging process do not damage the batteries. A complete discharge is not necessary.
Very low self-discharge
Even after long periods of storage, e.g. over winter, the battery can be used without recharging. The Bosch rechargeable batteries therefore do not need to be recharged after a long break. For longer storage, a charge level of approx. 30 to 60 % is recommended.
Long service life
Bosch batteries are designed for many tours, kilometres and years of service. The intelligent, electronic Bosch Battery Management System (BMS) protects lithium-ion batteries from excessive operating temperatures, overloading and deep discharge.
Bosch PowerPack 500With more energy for even more riding fun: A PowerPack 500 of the same size is hardly any heavier than a PowerPack 400 and enables longer ranges. The lithium-ion battery requires around two hours for half a charge; the PowerPack 500 is fully charged in around 4.5 hours with the Bosch Standard Charger. Under favourable conditions, tours of up to 90 kilometres are possible with one charge and the Performance Line Cruise in the mix.
