During the initial design process, the development team focused on three key performance principles: fit, breathability and value. Fit and breathability are ensured by the Ventilated DH Air padding and the antimicrobial Ionic+™ comfort lining, which uses silver-infused yarn to control odours inside the helmet. The helmet has been fitted with 14 ventilation ports to optimise airflow, regardless of where it is ridden. A Fidlock® buckle has also been added for easy, one-handed opening.
Finally, in addition to ASTM certifications for downhill and BMX, MIPS® has also been integrated to reduce rotational forces during certain impacts. All of this has been designed with the recreational rider in mind. The Sanction 2 was designed as a helmet for shredders aged 5 to 75. This helmet was born a rowdy and will never look back.
