The first layer is the hardest-working part of the kit. That is why the Skin Layer platform has been revamped for 2026 and reintroduced with a number of updates specifically tailored to racing. The circular-knit, seamless construction is now better body-mapped: thicker knit on the chest, shoulders and sleeves, thinner on the stomach and back. This provides insulation where it’s needed most and breathability where the wind chill has less of an effect. The new Dryarn fabric enhances breathability, moisture management and odour control compared to the standard Spring/Autumn Skin Layers.

The Second Skin fit ensures the garment lies close to the body, optimising its thermoregulatory properties and push-pull moisture management to create a warm, dry microclimate against the skin. The one-piece construction means there are no seams and no chafing.
