Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Frame-size in cm: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.61. Frame size in inch: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.24.If the theoretical value lies between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- Rather the smaller frame size when riding sportsmanlikely
- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "Equipe NS Skin Layer P1 - Functional Vest"
The lightest and coolest baselayer in our collection, refined with a more open construction, increased breathability and reduced water absorption.
Baselayer for the summer: The Equipe NS Skin Layer P1 functional vest from ASSOS
Certain racing conditions require the moisture-wicking benefits of a baselayer without the added bulk of an extra layer against the skin. The Racing NS Skin Layer fulfils this requirement with an extremely open mesh construction, sleeveless design and raw-cut finish throughout.
The ultra-slim profile makes it virtually disappear when worn, while the incredibly lightweight fabric wicks away heat and moisture inside just as quickly.
Features - NS Skin Layer P1
- Ultralight baselayer for demanding race conditions
- Extremely open mesh construction for maximum breathability
- Sleeveless design with raw-cut finish
- Ultra-flat profile for barely perceptible comfort
- Rapid removal of heat and moisture
- ASSOS Clima Range: Summer 1/3
- Fit: Slim Fit (ASSOS RacingFit)
Technologies
racingFit
Tighter and with slightly more compression than regularFit and comfortFit. Feels somewhat restricted when standing and walking, but fits like a second skin in the typical position on the bike. The result is better performance and increased comfort.
AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design)
ASSOS calls the know-how, experience and philosophy with which the fit of the products is developed and designed to harmonise perfectly with the riding position on the bike AEPD. ASSOS clothing is designed to adapt perfectly to the body on the bike and merge with it. High-tech materials are basically useless unless they are perfectly cut and finished.
ALS (ASSOS Layering System)
Less is more. The entire ASSOS collection is designed according to this philosophy. The aim in the development of ASSOS textiles is to utilise the body's natural heat-regulating properties through different layers of clothing with a minimum of weight and volume. Both the fabrics and the garments are always orientated towards their specific function and designed to complement each other perfectly. Everything fits together like a puzzle, both technically and aesthetically.
