The ABUS MoDrop MIPS handles any terrain and any riding style, and always leaves you wanting more.
This mountain bike helmet is the perfect companion for big-mountain days, trail adventures or simply leisurely family outings. Equipped with an MTB-specific adjustment system and TriVider strap dividers, this helmet offers many features that enhance comfort. On downhill runs, the height-adjustable visor protects against overhanging branches. In the event of a fall, it can also prevent direct impact to the face.
Additional safety is provided by the MIPS impact protection system. This is designed to protect the brain, particularly when the cyclist hits the ground at an angle during a fall. In such situations, the brain is subjected to strong rotational forces, which can lead to serious brain injuries. The MIPS system features a movable, low-friction plastic shell integrated into the helmet, which ensures that rotation is reduced and the head is better protected.
