- Optimum braking performance through heat dissipation: The use of graphene, a highly thermally conductive material, ensures that the brake pads efficiently dissipate the heat generated, which guarantees consistent braking performance, even on long descents.
- Graphene as an environmentally friendly alternative: In contrast to conventional brake pads, which contain copper, the GRAPHENpad uses graphene, a material with a lower environmental impact. It reduces the deposition of harmful particles in the ground and thus protects the environment.

Die Graphen-Pads wurden in einem Shimano MT-410 Bremssattel mit neuer SM-RT-30 Scheibe in 180mm verbaut. Nach dem Einbremsvorgang gab es Interferenzen, wenn man kurz vor dem Stillstand war. Auch nach 20 Kilometern wollten sich die Beläge regelrecht in die Scheibe beissen, immer kurz vor dem Stillstand. Vielleicht sollten die Beläge von Werk aus an den Kanten abgerundet werden, um einen besseren Bremsvorgang zu vollziehen. Nach Rückbau auf alte Original-Beläge war die Interferenz verschwunden. Die Modulation ist im mittleren Bereich, die Bremsleistung ist gut. Und leiser als Sintermetall-Beläge.
