Weil mir das Auf- und Absteigen mit meiner geschwächten Hüfte auf mein e-Tourenbike immer schwerer fällt, sollte eine Vario-Sattelstütze her. Um auf den gewohnten Komfort einer gefederten Sattelstütze nicht zu verzichten, viel die Wahl auf die SP-S 14 von XLC. Der Einbau war kein Problem und der Remote-Hebel lässt sich sehr flexibel und ergonomisch gut befestigen. Den Luftdruck auf mein Gewicht eingestellt und los geht`s. Doch gleich bei der ersten Tour stellte ich fest, dass die Federung nicht funktioniert. Auf Grund meiner Größe musste ich den Sattel mit ca. 2 cm Versatz montieren. Dies führt nun dazu, dass sich das Sattelrohr verkantet und die Stütze nicht einfedert. Eine Veränderung des Luftdrucks brachte keine Abhilfe. Die Sattelstütze ist somit für mich nicht brauchbar. Ich habe die Sattelstütze zurückgeschickt und reklamiert. Ich warte nun auf die Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises.
