Graphene is a revolutionary material in the form of an ultra-thin, almost transparent layer of carbon. In its purest form, it is just a single layer of atoms thick (1 billionth of a metre).
The advantages of graphene:
- Huge surface area: 1 gram = approx. 2,630 m², which is available for all kinds of chemical processes
