The Swiss Army knife of softshell jackets: the Qimsa men’s hooded cycling softshell jacket is designed for use on the bike, but also offers reliable weather protection for everyday wear and other outdoor activities. The comfortably soft and slightly stretchy fabric is completely windproof thanks to an integrated membrane. Pre-shaped sleeves ensure a good fit and maximum freedom of movement on the bike. The longer back panel protects against splashes and keeps your lower back warm, even when in a sporty riding position.
The high breathability of the softshell fabric and the two side pockets, which also serve as ventilation openings, ensure excellent climate control – even on strenuous climbs. And if the wind is particularly strong, the hood comes in handy. In addition, the waistband can be tightened securely using an internal drawcord. These versatile features make the Qimsa cycling softshell jacket with hood the ideal companion on chilly trails, when commuting to work or during an active day. The outer fabric is water- and dirt-repellent. VAUDE has deliberately avoided using fluorocarbons – so-called PFAS or PFC chemicals – which are suspected of being harmful to health.
