For cyclists who aren’t put off by the bitter cold! VAUDE’s warmest Posta softshell trousers for road cyclists, gravel riders and keen commuters are made from a highly elastic softshell fabric and are 100 per cent windproof at the front. The soft, brushed inner fabric, made from 100 per cent recycled polyester, provides extra warmth, is breathable and, thanks to the Eco Finish, is PFC-free and water-repellent.
Brushed fleece is used on the inside of the back of the lower leg to ensure sufficient freedom of movement and an optimised fit. The strap design is more akin to a sleeveless shirt, providing additional warmth around the upper body. The particularly low-set two-way zip, combined with the highly elastic fabric, minimises the need for breaks. Breathable mesh has been incorporated into the back to improve moisture wicking. Features include the Advanced Cycling Green chamois, a pocket on the left thigh, a silicone strip at the leg hem for a secure fit, pre-shaped knees, a zipped leg opening for easier getting in and out, and decorative reflective elements. The extra-flat seams help prevent skin irritation.
