Warm softshell cycling tights for women, ideal for the transitional seasons and winter. The Matera softshell cycling tights are highly elastic and, thanks to the membrane extending above the knee, are 100 per cent windproof in the area most sensitive to the cold. The women’s softshell cycling tights have a comfortably soft and warm brushed interior. The highly elastic material used on the back and lower legs offers enhanced breathability and, thanks to its construction, provides perfect freedom of movement and compression without causing chafing.
To prevent chafing, the wide waistband at the front is seamless. At the back and along the leg hems, these women’s softshell cycling tights feature silicone prints to ensure a perfect fit. The pre-shaped knees provide an extra touch of comfort. The Matera women’s softshell cycling tights come with the VAUDE T-Pad chamois. This chamois is suitable for a wide range of activities and is perfect for a more upright riding position. Decorative reflective elements at the back and on the sides of the legs perfectly round off these cycling tights. Technologies
Recycled material
To manufacture this highly functional product, Vaude uses, amongst other things, a proportion of recycled polyester. This consists of surplus material from polyester production which – rather than being disposed of as waste, as is often the case – is collected and reintroduced into the production process. This saves up to 50% in energy and CO₂ emissions, as well as reducing the use of fossil raw materials, without compromising the garment’s performance.
STRETCH
The material’s high elasticity is achieved through its elastane content and its knitted and woven construction. This offers maximum freedom of movement.
ECO FINISH
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are manufactured using an environmentally friendly, water-repellent treatment free from perfluorinated compounds (PFCs). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds used in many outdoor products to waterproof the outer fabric. They have come under criticism as they are considered non-biodegradable, accumulate in the body and are suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely avoid the use of PFCs.

Windproof Pro combines two different material technologies. We use 100% windproof, robust materials alongside 80% wind-resistant, breathable materials. We position these strategically on the body to provide optimum support for the performance of mountaineers and cyclists.
