The Kuro men’s cycling rain jacket has been specially designed for gravel cyclists and road cyclists who want to stay safe whatever the weather. The 2.5-layer fabric not only offers excellent protection against the elements, but also makes the jacket lightweight and compact. Thanks to the Ceplex Pro membrane, the rain jacket withstands a water column of at least 20,000 millimetres (JIS L 1092 B) and keeps you dry even in heavy rain.
Despite its compact pack size, the Kuro men’s cycling rain jacket offers outstanding comfort. The sporty, pre-shaped cut is perfectly tailored to the riding position on the bike. The sleeves are specifically designed for cycling and, with their precise cut and snug wrist cuffs, ensure that the rain is reliably kept out. The ventilation panel at the back guarantees optimal ventilation, even when temperatures rise or the wattage has you working up a sweat. The stretchy fabric allows for maximum freedom of movement, whether you’re in the drops or out of the saddle. A silicone band at the hem ensures a secure fit, keeping the jacket reliably in place even as your riding position changes. A small, practical zipped pocket on the back offers space for essentials such as keys or energy bars.

This membrane is waterproof, breathable and windproof. It withstands a water column of 20,000 millimetres and is 100 per cent free from fluorocarbons and PTFE.
ECO FINISH
VAUDE products featuring Eco Finish are manufactured using an environmentally friendly, water-repellent treatment that is free from perfluorinated compounds (PFCs). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds used in many outdoor products to waterproof the outer fabric. They have come under criticism as they are considered non-biodegradable, accumulate in the body and are suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely avoid the use of PFCs.
STRETCH
The material’s high elasticity is achieved through its elastane content and its knitted and woven construction. This offers maximum freedom of movement.
Recycled Material
To manufacture this highly functional product, Vaude uses, amongst other things, a proportion of recycled polyester. This consists of surplus material from polyester production which – contrary to common practice – is not disposed of as waste but is collected and reintroduced into the production process. This saves up to 50% in energy and CO₂ emissions, as well as reducing the use of fossil raw materials, without compromising the garment’s functionality.
