Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Product information "M-Cover - Sports Glasses"
Sports glasses with easy to change lenses: M-Cover from Swiss Eye
The Swiss Eye M-Cover offers a fair price-performance ratio and comes with three lenses: Smoke, Orange and Clear. The scope of delivery is completed by a chic case and a microfiber bag, which is suitable for scratch-free cleaning of the lenses. The glasses are suitable for medium-sized faces, the interchangeable lenses are pleasantly large.
In the practical test on the ski slope, the goggles were fully convincing. The contrasts of the snow in rapid changes of light and shade were perfectly visible thanks to the orange lens. At speeds between 70 and 80 km/h, I could not detect any unpleasant air currents on the eyes. Despite sweating and changing temperature ranges, it remained fog-free - I like it when a product convinces! It has also proven itself on the bike. Especially on the morning commute to work, it scores with the clear lens. Here, too, I have felt no draft on the eyes. Only when choosing a helmet, the length of the temples with 125 mm should be taken into account, so as not to collide with the helmet shell at the temple end.
