Enough rim tape for four rims, sealant and valves are Stan's quality. Everything for a perfect tubeless setup in one try.
Musste leider sehr schlechte Erfahrung mit diesem Tubeless-Kit teilen. Umrüsten wollte ich meine Tubelessready MAXXIS Minion Reifen, die ich zuvor mit Schlauch gefahren bin, Mein Hinterreifen bekam jedoch bei etwas ruppigerem Trails dann schließlich einen Platten - Daher wollte ich auf Tubeless umrüsten. Eines der beiden Tubeless Ventile kam bereits defekt im Lieferumfang an…, Also wurde erstmal nur der eine Reifen umgerüstet. Dichtband also sauber neu eingeklebt, 100ml Dichtmilch eingefüllt und Ventil festgeschraubt. Unter Luftdruck dann direkt gehört dass die Milch das wirklich minimale Loch im Mantel geschlossen hat, was jedoch nicht lange hielt. Nach einer kleinen Fahrt zischt der Reifen ununterbrochen und die Milch fliegt um die Ohren trotz ständiger Bewegung des Rades. Mal hält die Dichtmilch das winzige Loch zu, im anderen Augenblick aber wieder nicht und die gesamte Milch fliegt raus. Jetzt steh ich hier mit einem vollgesauten, klebrigen Fahrrad und schlussendlich musste der Schlauch wieder ins Hinterrad; welcher nun mir wieder Ruhe bereitet und nicht ständig Luftdruck verliert und um die Ohren zischt. Meiner Meinung nach ein Produkt, welches nicht ausgereift ist und nicht richtig das tut, was es soll. Daher 1 Stern.
I used this tubeless kit on my Maxxis Ikon TR tire en it sealed in one go. It was my first time going tubeless too. After a week the tire pressure has gone down 1 PSI. I can not fault the sealant of the valve in any way. Why not a 5 star rating I hear you ask? Because the rim tape that came with it was torn/cut half way the roll. Therefore I could not do the second tire. Maybe a production issue?
