The 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is the sporty road bike and mountain bike race saddle. The wave-like shape and the raised tail of the saddle ensure perfect rear support and optimum pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, which significantly improves power transmission to the pedal. The lowered nose in combination with the recess in the middle creates more space and clearance for the perineal area for women and men.
Many small detail improvements in shape, technology and material raise the new 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 to a new level. The 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is equipped with the new active technology with a softer and lighter movement with less weight. The SQlab active saddle technology allows the saddle to follow the pedalling movement, which increases comfort, mobilises the intervertebral discs and minimises pressure on the sit bones.

- Unisex - With the SQlab step saddle concept and the SQlab saddle width system, different saddles for men and women are no longer necessary.
- Ergowave® - The new shape of the SQlab step saddle for a dynamic riding position on the MTB and roadbike. It provides an optimal pressure distribution within the pubic branches for even further increased performance and comfort.
- Saddle Widths - SQlab saddles are available in 5 different saddle widths. The correct saddle width is determined using the SQlab sit bone measurement method.
- Active-Technology - The active-saddle construction allows movement of the pelvis in the horizontal plane, which increases comfort and relieves the spinal discs. The active-saddles are equipped with two to four active-sticks.
- MaxContact® - saddle nose maximizes the contact area thereby reducing pressure.

Excellent saddle. I was very pleasantly surprised by the extra pelvis rotation this saddle allows. This in turn allows for a comfortable riding position for extended periods of time in both the drops and on the hoods.

Nach den ersten Ausfahrten ist schon eine deutliche Verbesserung im Vergleich zu meinem alten 612 Ergowave active 2.0 Sattel spürbar. Die neue Active Technologie ist leichtgängiger als die alter Version, was ich sehr schätze. Ein für mich perfekter Sattel!
