Sprindex – the revolutionary MTB steel spring innovation
Sprindex was the brainchild of freeride legend Richie Schley and the original Crankbrothers founders Carl Winefordner, Frank Hermansen and Andrew Herrick. All four had been frustrated for some time that there was no adjustable steel suspension for MTBs and decided to change that once and for all. Their Sprindex spring is nothing less than an exercise in MTB suspension revolution. Finally, steel suspension now loses its one major disadvantage compared to air suspension: the lack of adjustability. To guarantee this effect, the Sprindex springs are available in different lengths to cover almost all available coil shocks and are made of particularly resistant, lightweight material.
