Product information "SH-RX910 - MTB Shoes"

The Shimano SH-RX910 is the flagship for gravel racing and ambitious MTB, from the S-Phyre series. The shoes combine extreme stiffness, light weight and comfort thanks to a carbon sole with a stiffness index of 12 - just like Shimano's top road bike models. Thanks to the seamless midsole and upper construction as well as the Dual-BOA Li2 closure system, the shoe adapts with millimeter precision and holds the foot firmly in place - supported by an anti-twist heel cup.

A highlight is the Pontoon cleat system: replaceable TPU blocks around the cleat ensure a wide, efficient contact surface and stable power transmission, regardless of how the cleats are set. The hard-wearing TPU outsole offers optimum traction off-road and safe walking properties, while the drainage openings drain water away when crossing rivers and in the rain. The breathable, wrap-around microfiber leather upper and wraparound construction combine comfort with durability.

SHIMANO DYNALAST
The toe spring area of a cycling shoe plays an essential role in supporting pedaling efficiency. If it is too high, it can cause increased tension in the plantar, calf and hamstring muscles. If it is too low, it results in a flexed, inefficient pedaling motion. Extensive research by the R&D experts at Shimano has resulted in a superior shoe last design with an optimized toe spring area that promotes a smoother, more energy-efficient upward motion. Shimano Dynalast was developed based on feedback from professional riders and helps to reduce energy loss on long rides. This gives you more power for the final sprint across the finish line.

Limit energy loss by increasing pedaling efficiency: Between crank angles of 200° and 360°, there is a loss of power or energy in the backward phase of a pedal stroke. Shoes that use Shimano Dynalast help reduce this energy loss by supporting a smoother, more efficient pedaling motion. If you want to reduce fatigue, get the most out of your legs or simply perform a little better, you should ride with Shimano Dynalast.
