Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "RT-6B750 6-Bolt Disc Rotor "
Shimano RT-6B750 6-bolt: More power for modern MTBs Shimano presents its new brake discs with a thickness of 2.2 mm, which are specially designed for demanding MTB use. They offer riders noticeably more control, improved heat management and significantly greater durability - perfect for aggressive trail sessions.
The new generation of 2.2 mm thick brake discs for modern mountain bikes: Shimano RT-6B750 6-bolt
On steep descents, fast corners and through technical rocky sections, braking is not just about slowing down, it's about maintaining control. SHIMANO's latest rotor design has been developed to give riders the confidence to go deeper into the lines and brake later when it counts.
Rooted in Shimano's gravity heritage, the new 6-bolt 2.2mm disc brake rotor (RT-CL6B750) and 2.2mm centre-lock disc rotor (RT-CL750) confidently take centre stage as premium brake upgrades. Available in 200 mm and 220 mm sizes, the revised design increases the disc thickness from 1.75 mm to 2.2 mm for a noticeable increase in performance and reliability.
More than just thickness - Switching to a thicker rotor isn't just about more material, it's about ensuring consistent braking performance at the crucial moment. The 2.2mm increased profile with new vent hole design provides more control, helping to maintain predictable metering while reducing hand fatigue.
Riders also benefit from increased durability and impact resistance, reducing the risk of brake disc deformation in the event of a crash. By switching from 203 mm to 200 mm, SHIMANO simplifies brake mounting and alignment, reducing the need for additional shims or adapters for a cleaner interface with the caliper and wider compatibility with frames and forks.
Designed for the next generation of braking - The new thick brake discs are fully compatible with SHIMANO's latest 4-piston braking systems, including XTR, DEORE XT and DEORE, providing an easy upgrade for riders looking to improve their braking performance across a variety of disciplines.
