The rigid half-frame construction ensures a stable lens position, while the shorter temple length enables a perfect fit with various helmet models. Soft, flexible temples with structured, non-slip ends ensure a secure grip, even on rough terrain. The swivelling nose pad with different thicknesses on the front and back allows individual adjustment for an optimum fit. The frame is made from sustainable Rilsan® Clear G850 Rnew®, a bio-based polyamide that uses less petroleum. Temple tips made of non-toxic TPE, manufactured using a double injection moulding process, offer additional comfort and stability.
The one-piece lens offers a wide field of vision and protects the entire eye area. The cycling-specific RIDESCAPE lenses enhance contrasts and ensure clear vision in all light conditions. The high-quality polyamide (PA) lenses are extremely lightweight, impact-resistant and have a scratch-resistant coating. They offer full UV400 protection and have a hydrophobic coating that repels water and makes cleaning easier. The lenses are also interchangeable to adapt flexibly to different conditions.
The Equinox 5 Road sports glasses are supplied in robust, environmentally friendly paper packaging, which also serves as a hard case. A soft protective eyewear bag made from rPET reduces the carbon footprint and offers secure storage. The bags of the RIDESCAPE models have a separate compartment for quick and easy lens replacement.
