Calculate frame size
The right size of your hardtail mountain-bike:
The Inside leg length is multiplied by 0.226 and thus you get the theoretical value of the frame size in inch. One inch equals 2.54 cm.
If the theoretical value is in-between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- choose the smaller size when riding athletically
- choose the larger size when riding tour-orientated
How to determine your Inside leg length:
The Inside leg length or stride height is the length of the inside of the leg. The most accurate way to measure your stride length is to use a spirit level and a tape measure or folding rule. Stand barefoot on a flat surface, clamp the spirit level horizontally between your legs and measure the distance from the upper edge of the spirit level to the ground. This value corresponds to your stride length.
Alternatively, you can also determine your frame height based on your height, see the table below. However, the method using inseam length is more accurate.

Frame-size in cm: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.61. Frame size in inch: multiply your Inside leg length by the factor 0.24.If the theoretical value lies between two sizes, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
- Rather the smaller frame size when riding sportsmanlikely
- Rather the next frame in size when riding tour-orientated
- Deduct approx. 5 cm (or 2 inches respectively) of the theoretical size when using spring-mounted seat posts.

Product information "DURA ACE FC-R9200-P 12-speed Power Meter Crank 54/40"
THE SCIENCE OF SPEED: Shimano Dura Ace 2x12-speed Crank FC-R9200-P
Shimano has been working for years to provide you with an advantage of seconds. The new 12-speed DURA-ACE R9200 is the fastest groupset ever and the pinnacle of SHIMANO technology and innovation. Speed was the key driver for the development of this new generation road groupset. That's why every component has been revised, refined and optimised to make you even faster - whether to leave the peloton behind you or to win the final sprint on the Champs-Élysées.The DURA-ACE FC-R9200 crankset performs two crucial tasks: It converts pedal power into driving force and ensures extremely fast and precise front shifting. At the same time, the new dual-sided FC-R9200-P power meter processes all this data with outstanding accuracy. In addition, the lightweight HOLLOWTECH II crank arms and SHIMANO's leading chainring design further contribute to the FC-R9200's top ranking! Furthermore, it is available in various crank arm lengths and with different chainring options, ensuring that everyone will find the perfect crank for their needs.

Power MeterThe power meter ‘brain’ sits inside the Dura Ace drive crank body (the spider) and the strain gauges sit inside the crank arms to measure left and right leg power. The brain is discrete and compact, providing a system that’s one of the lightest and cleanest on the market. Because the power meter is connected to the spider, chain rings can be easily changed without affecting the power meter’s accuracy. The system checking and firmware upload can also be operated by your smart phone or tablet PC through a Bluetooth connection (E-TUBE). An integrated rechargeable battery powers the unit. This can be charged with a small magnetic adapter without needing to remove covers or casings.
