The E-TUBE SD50-I cable from Shimano for internal cable routing is available in different lengths. It transmits interactive signals and supplies E-TUBE DI2 drives with power. It has a waterproof, compact plug and can be easily routed internally through handlebars and frames thanks to the "Plug & Gap" connection (without original packaging).
The E-Tube platform offers optimum flexibility. E-Tube transmits interactive signals and supplies all parts with power via "plug & play" connections. E-Tube is resistant to corrosion, expansion and frost and guarantees low maintenance. And the SMPCE1 establishes the connection between PC and components to update the firmware. Digital devices stay up to date by updating the firmware and offer improved functionality

The cables are now only two-core and have significantly thinner plugs, which are only 5.1 mm in diameter and therefore 3.7 mm narrower than the plugs of the Dura Ace Di2 7970. "Plug and play" functionality guarantees simple plug connections of the cables, which are available in various lengths and are therefore suitable for almost any frame shape or construction.
