The new generation combines the typical characteristics of a genuine MTB component group: powerful and consistent braking performance, fast mechanical shifting under load, a particularly robust rear derailleur and ergonomically optimised operation.

Robust drivetrain construction – At the heart of the new DEORE M7200/M6200 drivetrains is a newly developed rear derailleur that shifts precisely and reliably even under heavy load. The wedge-shaped design of the chain stabiliser is based on technologies found in current SHIMANO Di2 MTB rear derailleurs. The compact design helps to deflect obstacles more effectively and reduces the risk of snagging on rocks or roots. After an impact, the rear derailleur can return to its original position without affecting shifting performance.
